POSITION SUMMARY:

Receiving customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Processing check-ins and explaining key facilities and services within the Club.
  2. Taking bookings by phone, email or walk ins and recording all details in the system.
  3. Creating Final bills for group of individual at check-out and processing payments.
  4. Providing guests with concierge services, for example wake-up services and taxi bookings.
  5. Dealing with guests’ complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Liaising with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are available for check –ins.

QUALIFICATION

  1. Diploma in Reception /Front Office Techniques.
  2. At least C plain Mean Grade in KCSE and a C minus in English language |Kiswahili |Mathematics.
  3. Fluent in foreign language preferably French and German.
  4. Experience in Hotel booking and operating systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years’ experience working in a hotel/Members Club as receptionist or guest services role will be an added advantage.
