POSITION SUMMARY:
Receiving customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing check-ins and explaining key facilities and services within the Club.
- Taking bookings by phone, email or walk ins and recording all details in the system.
- Creating Final bills for group of individual at check-out and processing payments.
- Providing guests with concierge services, for example wake-up services and taxi bookings.
- Dealing with guests’ complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaising with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are available for check –ins.
QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Reception /Front Office Techniques.
- At least C plain Mean Grade in KCSE and a C minus in English language |Kiswahili |Mathematics.
- Fluent in foreign language preferably French and German.
- Experience in Hotel booking and operating systems.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years’ experience working in a hotel/Members Club as receptionist or guest services role will be an added advantage.
